The film plays with the dark side of Hans Christian Anderson’s classic story to create a short narrative film that captures an enchanting and unsettling beauty. Sexy, surreal and sinister, ‘Matchstick Girl’ applies Imagine Fashion’s bold, uncompromising approach to fashion film to the fairytale narrative. Elfin Norwegian model Siri Tollerod stars as the little match girl, adorned in street urchin chic by Chanel, Celine, Jil Sander, Jean Paul Gaultier and Prada.
