Remember a previous post I made on the PlayBook, where I extolled the features it did have and lamented the ones it didn’t? I was pretty disappointed over the lack of apps (which I never understand why as the BlackBerry OS is a closed system therefore a lot more straightforward) and that I couldn’t blog on the go. Now I’m geeking out majorly over the new beta OS, BlackBerry 2.0 – because it runs the Android App Launcher!
BlackBerry announced this a while ago, and since the OS beta build was launched last week, the BlackBerry community have been working on getting Android apps onto the PlayBook.

The Android App Market isn’t ready to access yet, but there are a list of about 400 apps that have been tested and made ready to use. Which is how I’m writing this post now – via WordPress for Android.
Keep an eye out for future posts on my burgeoning love affair with the BlackBerry PlayBook. I already spent most of last night with it. Must be <3.
