Clarks “Every Shoe Tells a Story” – We Have a Winner

You may remember back in September I wrote a post on the Every Shoe Tells A Story competition from Clarks. The lucky winner of £3000 worth of Trailblazers travel vouchers was announced on Facebook on Monday as Lisa Hughes with her story – “Shoes Fit For a King” which you can have a read by clicking on the link.

Lisa wasn’t the only winner, as Clarks also gave away a pair of shoes everyday for six weeks to entrants from all over the world.

Every Shoe Tells A Story

Not because the soles are coming off and flapping when you walk, but being a lady, I am somewhat fond of footwear. So are guys actually. A tad more so sometimes…

Many of you will have seen these shoes before if you read my other blog, Two Words. Unfortunately, they’re a lot more battered now, but I think it adds to their charm.

These shoes are my favorites because it shows you don’t need to spend loads to look good. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for but I picked up these (real leather) for a fiver and I painted them myself. It was at a time in my career where I was a lot more shy and apprehensive, and just looking down at my gold toed shoes just cheered me up. And everyone showers me with compliments when I wear them.

One of our great British institutions of footwear, Clarks, also wants to know your shoe stories. It can be from a beloved pair of heels, to your grotty gym trainers. Launching the “Every Shoe
Tells A Story” competition, for the whole month of September, you can post your shoe story on the Clarks Facebook page with the chance to win a pair of shoes everyday. Not just that, the overall winner will win £3000 worth of Trailfinders vouchers to use for a trip of a lifetime, which will be announced on the 25th October.
